He noticed her, on his way to an oasis. What was with him lately, he appeared to have been getting stuck out in the blaring heat many a times now. Usually, Sterling was found standing in a pool of water, sulking in the shade waiting for night. That was when he pirated across the dunes. But in the middle of the day, today, he was making his way horrifyingly towards an oasis, wishing it to come sooner. He didn’t run there however, because he was sure he’d end up carking it halfway there. He was just that sort of guy. Ears prick and eyes watching her, as she smelt like the sand, predominantly, but he hadn’t seen her before. And well if I do say so myself Sterling is being extremely good at meeting up with every hiding snake left in the sands. Wandering past, he calls, “Oh, why ‘lo there stranger! I’ve never seen you before. Why not come for a walk with me, I’m going to fetch a drink and die quietly under some shade. I do like a bit of company,” And his smile was broad, and clean and sweet, as he bobs his head encouragingly, wandering on the way.
