Ildri crosses the sands in a haphazzard sort of way. Her legs still uneasy on the shifting sands. 'Just one foot in front of the other.' She grumbles to herself too quiet for anyone else to here. From her home land she had been very fluent on the land, graceful even.
The little filly was half blinded by the sun and she almost started to curse when her foot slipped on a downhill slope. She ended up holding her breathe instead as she fell down the doom. Rolling over and over her legs scrambled to get a hold and stop her slipping body. The sand scrapped at her coat and bedded itself inside her fur. Her eyes were shut but even if they were open she wouldn't have been able to stop herself.
That's when she hit the body. Coming to a stop with a thud she started to breathe again. Regaining her breathe she stood. Ildri's black coat was completely covered in sand. Shaking her head she was able to relieve her eyes of the tiny rocks. Seeing the horse still laying below her she started to apologize but she didn't quite know what to say. She felt dumb just standing there not saying anything. Ildri shuffled her feet and backed up just a few feet to give whoever it was some room.

She whispered and looked away embarrassed.
