It was a very good thing that Sterling had not taken the scholar path, and that he wasn’t an apprentice and could read minds. He would be horrified to know that Voraer cam to the decision that it was a good ploy to get hot ladies to heal you – especially Hypatia. This thought would have caused much a stuttering and rambling and denying, lots of “no no no no, that’s not it Voraer, no, I swear…” And then immediately be found guilty, and embarrassed, and now a terrible, terrible liar. All in all, good thing Sterling can’t read Voraer’s mind. Because it then would have fallen out, with laughter at the idea of Fenris ruling Narnia.
Sterling is slightly surprised by the passion Voraer talks with. It makes his water coil, and crouch, much like a cat ready to pounce, on a mother, or other insect – it wasn’t really the sort of power behind taking down some serious gamer (or fire in this case). It was playful and excited.
Lips pucker slightly, and Sterling is perfectly still listening to Voraer speak, both ears forwards, enraptured eyes. He does not even brush his black tail up against his haunches, and his mind gently ebbs into the idea of fighting, something he’d never considered. However he knew it was not fore him, he was thinking about the Viper fighting, the warriors. Wondering who has more elegance, in a very feminine way. Well surely that would be Alerion. But a smile cracks over Sterling’s lips again at the idea of Baraqel being much more delicate and dainty than Alerion, and turning around and with a wild “BAM” igniting the opponent.
“That’s good Voraer. It’s good to be the passionate about something. So then teaching fighting would appeal to you?”
Surprise creases on his brow and Sterling sort of thinks out loud,
“Did Kivioq just get kicked by Strandwolf? This doesn’t seem awfully fair for the poor chap,”
Although it’s a smile on Sterling’s mouth in a slightly wolfish style.
