The sun bled as she sunk into the spear of the distance, her blood drifting in rivers across the darkening sky. The crimson stained beast stood with his right fore tipped into the soft sands, the ringing pain of his most recent battle with Rowan demanding he keep it rested and under low weight. Voraer dared to hardly breathe now as he stared, unseeing into this bloody sunset, his life suspended as he awaited judgment on his most recent clash. V O R A E R

He was not one prone to worry or dwell, but he had a lot riding on this one single fight that it twisted his gut to think of possible failure. Not only would his goals, so close, be dashed yet again; but he would be trekking back to sea after just welcoming himself back home. It was a bitter and foul mood he stewed in when the silver buckskin approached. Ears twisted back at the voice, lips turning from their frown into a subtle smirk. Voraer did not turn to look at this ally as he sidled along his side, he knew who it was.
”Is Baraqel so prone to blowing up those on his side?” Voraer questioned lightly, making a joke of Sterling’s greeting and Voraer’s return at the side of the firestarter. He xhaled dramatically. ”You ruined my valiant rescue, you know. I was going to fight wolf after wolf to bring you home, and yet you return in my wake with a giddy smile.” Voraer raised a ‘brow, swiveling his blazed muzzle to eye the gilded stud. ”Did Fenris really let you go as she promised?”
