He wasn’t sure if it was relief, when he felt the sand on his frogs, and return to critter through hairs and skin. He knew it was relief when he saw a grey a mare standing in her red dunes with the setting sun. A sun which made the desert burn, and set everything on fire – washed with rich reds and oranges, that flicker and fall with the sands of time. Of course, this could have just been Hypatia. Sterling’s water leapt at the sight of her. It swirled around inside him anxiously, weak in ever aspect compared to her. It sloshed like he was water logged, and with every step was rising up inside him. But he has control. Even as he leaves the beginning of puddles in every wake (that turns the scarlet sands into a colour of blood), he keeps it controlled. There’s a sigh, that pushes from his mouth, as timidly, it seems, he stretched a black-edged head forwards. So softly, he pushes it under her chin, closing his hazel eyes. Everything about her is strong compared to him. Her element, her position, her body, her scent. He inhales deeply, considerably less timid now, as he breaths in the essence of the desert. It flags away the smell of pines and granite, consumes, drinks it like thirst vampires. Opening his eyes, he brings his face away from hers, and starts, “I… Hypatia…” His voice is scratchy from the return of the desert, but soon he find water in his mouth, in pools in his cheeks and swallows worried by this. It was like sweating when you were worried. Instead the silver buckskin was sweating fresh water inside his mouth. “I’m, I’m back…” His voice is quiet and rushed now, and different from before, soft and losing formality quickly. “How, how’s it been here?” Sterling starts, and practically breathes out the words, “You’re the only thing I missed,”                                                                       there was a loophole in my d r e a m i n g. 16 Message Thread: Hi guys.
