I think if Alyssa posed a serious enough threat he would protect you.
Alyssa may get more slack than someone else but I think if she pushed him he would defend what was his.
The great thing about him is that he switches off as quick as he switches on. That is something that people look for in dogs and some don't get.
I personally want a dog that can take a bite and within seconds hold that bite and walk into a crowd a socialize. We have done that with Cameo several times at Octoberfest in Oaks Park. Changes peoples minds quickly when a dog can take a sleeve into a crowd, drop it to lick a childs face then pick it back up and go back onto the field and go right back to work.
That is the what I mean by on and off. Gotta love it.
Too bad there isn't someplace strange to all the dogs but safe from prying eyes, who might not understand "big vicious dogs biting a little girl" We could put it to the test.
