As we prepare for the NW Working Dogs Annual Expo - to include the first PDI Regional - we at NW Working Dogs find that we must raise some much needed funds. We have expenses for the fairgrounds rental, insurance, advertising, field equipment, etc. So, with this in mind, we are going to be doing a fund raising raffle. This is a chance to help NW Working Dogs & quite possibly hit the jackpot for yourself! Here's how it works:
We will be selling tickets for $5 dollars a piece. Buy as few or as many as you like. Our goal is to sell one thousand tickets. When we reach our goal, we will hold a drawing. There will be 3 winners drawn. Each winner will receive 10% of the pot!
So, for example, if we sell 500 tickets, that would mean the pot would hold $2500. Each of the three winners will take home $250 a piece! Nice, huh?
If we reach our goal of 1000 tickets sold, that means $5000 dollars in the pot, and $500 dollars to each winner.
We think this raffle will be a lot of fun, and plenty of opportunity to win some cash.
The raffle starts this Saturday. You can buy tickets at training for yourself. If you are a club member and want to sell tickets for the club, let us know and we will assign a block of tickets to you. You can also buy tickets through the mail or pay with PayPal. Just let us know and we'll get you set up!
I'm hopeful that this will be a highly successful fundraiser, and will get us going on our way to an even more successful event this summer.
