I believe child sexual abuse is despicable and the punishment should be eternal and not just temporal.
I also believe that child abuse in the name of
athletic rewards is just as bad.
Most people watched Kerri Strug in the 96 Olympics,
and thought what a wonderful feat to vault with
with an injured ankle. Not me I was revolted that
Win at all cost was foisted upon her by an abusive coach.
Again, recently A YOUNG American Gymnast could not smile, but frowned at a second place medal because the abusive nature of the training and competition left no room for a happy thought of
anything less than first place.
Parents, Coaches ,Media, and Our cultural demand to be first has resulted in ritualistic child abuse,
BUT THAT IS o.k. BECAUSE MOST ALL OF US WANT TO SEE YOUNG WOMEN AND YOUNG GIRLS SACRIFICED ON THE ALTER OF NATIONAL EGOTISM.
