Did the vet explain why he thought it was nothing to do with the vaccines? After all vaccine reactions do happen( look at the debate and research going on at the moment re whether vaccinations can cause autism in some children)and clinically I would have expected him to be able to support the assertion it was notthe vaccine. As a metter of interest what examination did he carry out, and did he presecribe anything for your dog? Hopefully the dog is improving-- do let us know. You are right all the information available about some of the common treatments we have been giving our dogs for years, thinking we were doing the best by them is quite challenging.
