I'm sorry. Yes I was being naughty. Once again I will have to flagellate with brambles. Actually when I got home and saw the mess I laughed out loud (for my stupidity in not storing the bags in a better place and for not closing the downstairs toilet door) and immediately got the camera so that I could share the image here. We once had a flat in London where the kitchen bin had to be chained to the wall. We also once had a puppy who ate a large pot of dry fish food and then washed it down with olive oil. That really was a technicolour yawn! Lovely sunny day again here. (Bs As)

: Yes, quite! What a happy looking puppy!!
:
: A few months ago I came home to find all the
: sofa throws and cushions, and the kitchen
: t-towels, oven gloves and floor rugs in a
: glorious pile in the sitting room, nicely
: iced by a shredded newspaper and topped by a
: chewed TV remote control. Clever puppies I
: thought, they must have had so much fun!
:
: Joking aside I can't stress enough to keep
: anything potentially damaging well out of
: reach - Zack recently got into out loft room
: where the cat resides and helped himself to
: the used cat litter resulting in a very bad
: 36 hours of acute food poisoning and a trip
: to the emergency vet Sunday morning.
:
: Puppies like to chew and amuse themselves,
: so leave indestructible chews and toys
: around for them to play with while you are
: out - and everything else out of reach, or
: them shut out that room.
:
: And no beating!!

: Dear Tiller,
: Can I suggest that you beat yourself - or
: whoever left access to the bin possible,
: check the pups are not ill from ingesting
: rubbish, and reward them roundly for
: pointing out the laxness in your
: housekeeping !
: On a serious note; they do find their way
: into ANYTHING don't they? Jo will have
: something to say about this after a recent
: experience with her spaniel.
: Imogen.
