hTe web site mentioned by Imogen is one of the best resources available for you to come to an informed decision about what is best for your animals, and you can consult directly with the lady who runs it for further info. It is a minefield because over the years when you have been conditioned to think reponsible owners vaccinate, it is scary to think otherwise. Possible factors to consider 1) Blood testing your animals to check if they need further vaccination or of blood levels are ok. 2) Do you need to leave them in kennels-- they will always ask for current vaccination certificates 3)Learn more about homeopthic nosodes as an alternative( still not acceptable to boarding kennels) 4)In towns more chance of outbreaks of parvo say than in the country so perhaps higher risk of infection there although the country is not totally safe either! 5) Look at the role of diet in helpingto protect your dogs'immune system
Hope that helps Doreen http://www.bestfrienddoglistener.co.uk
