After a week of sitting in the utility room I finally had a day to install the clutches I had gotten back from Aaron. Let me tell yall..... what a difference. Push on the gas pedal and your moving. I'm very pleased and all yall need to get this done so your drive belt won't fray. Aaron was always a phone call away if I ran into any glitches. Can't say enough about 800mammothparts!!

I machined mine also. I live in northern canada and didnt want to send them all the way to the US so I had a friend with a machine shop that did mine...WHAT A DIFFERENCE. It never worked like that before! I also fixed the starter issue(click click) by putting 2 .020 washers behind the starter to bring it out a little. Before that I had a hard time just to get it to turn over, now it NEVER clicks. (very easy fix)

tell me more about the starter fix, cause when mine gets warm it doesn't want to start, it just clicks, then after a few mins it will turn over.

Very easy fix. Pull your clutch cover, remove 2 starter bolts, put aprox 20 thou washers between starter and starter housing. Dont forget to check your clutches and belt. I took my clutches to a local machine shop and had them machined. It has never worked so good!!! I strongly suggest doing this all while you have it apart. WELL WORTH IT!!!

I realize that I am ignorant on this matter but what are you machining on the clutches and how much. I hate to not have the use of my Mammoth for a week or two when I could have the machining done here in Alabama.

You should take a look at the Aaron's web site (mammoth 800 parts) you can found the clutch document HERE That gonna give you all you need to properly optimize you clutch, if not, just ask here !
