Hi Max.....I have the same set up on mine, with very little space between the exhaust manifold and the frame that runs in front of it. The access panel does run very warm, but I dont believe it is as hot as yours....I took it for a 1/2 hour run today and was still able to place my hand on the panel....Question, could your full skid plate that you mounted be blocking some of the air flow and heating you up more than the norm?
