I don't know either where is the fan sensor (someone will tell us) but I suggest you to check the fan relay, that's the first relay you will see when you open the hood (near the radiator, taped on the wiring harness) it's a small rectangular black box, it might be blow from the fan wire touching each other when they cut on the motor
