I took a long Mammoth ride today with all the family, it was pretty hot outside (90 deg.) and I found that there is to much heat in the engine bay (my thigh caugh on fire... just kidding
) but the engine bay cover was extremely hot. This might be a consequence of my skid plate who's blocking the cold air from underneath the mammoth
I saw that SNIPE installed a vent on the cover and a 3" fan on the belt compartment.
I thinking of mounting 2 (4 3/4" square) 100 cfm fan on each side of the mammoth and maybe an other one on the front of the engine cover to force the hot air toward the back
Anybody have installed a fan to cool down the engine bay ?
If yes I would like to know what kind of fan did you use and where did you mount it
How do you guys get rid of this problem ?
Thanks
