I thought I would post this for everyone out there,After about 300 miles of riding here in Arizona I figured it was time to check the air cleaner,As soon as I pulled the top off I knew There was a problem. There was dirt around the the inside of the carb and we all know that is bad news.So somewhere the dirt is getting by the seals, before I put it back together I put RTV on the bottom seal around the carb and a thin coat of grease around both sides of the air cleaner to seal against the gaskets better. This brings up the same old question, why should we keep doing the R&D for Kazuma, this stuff should be figured out way before these things hit the market. They need to do some field testing with these things in different parts of the country, give a few Mammoths away to some serious riders or dealers to test and this stuff should get fixed before we end up with it.So, one will have to think, how much dirt did the engine consume and how much life did it take out of the motor? do you think Jason at Kazuma is reading this?if so, steal this info and put it on your web site!So please check you air cleaner's!!you may have the same problem.I will try and post some pictures of the dirt in the carb.
