Hello Vince and welcome to the board.
Two of my favorite palms that would grow nicely in your area would be a Sabal Palmetto (state tree) and a Butia Capita (Pindo Palm). They grow to a larger size and can be purchased at Blythewoods Palms, 2420 S.Hwy. 14 Greer,SC.Where 14 crosses I-85.
They will deliver and install or you can pick them up yourself. They have some very large ones.
As for a lower growing palm, I would recommend a Needle Palm or a Sabal Minor. Visit Chilly Palm Co. online. He is located in York, S.C.
The palms listed are slow growing so you might want to buy as large a palms as affordable.
Forgot to mention Windmill palms which will grow tall over time at a medium growth rate.
