In August of 2008 I visited HH because I wanted to go through some old yearbooks to verify some names, like the first name of math teacher Suellen Farrington who left a year before we did and is not in our Elm Tree.
Because it was summer, classes were not in session and the library was closed.
As I wandered around the hallways, I encountered one of the last of the white Jews still in Hillhouse.
His name is Warren Spaner, and he's a school maintenance man. His wife is our classmate Marlene Goldman.
