Battle School: Onward to Battle!

From a distance, she eyed her new teacher, the grey not being quite as large as she herself was. The ground crumbled easily beneath her dinner-plate sized hooves, the mud slightly sticky as it clung to the bottom of the feathers ornamenting her legs. Slowly she started to circle the other mare, her mind firmly locked in battle mode. The moan of the wind and the crunching of fallen leaves and twigs beneath her hooves were the only sounds made by either participant. This should be rather interesting.

With suprising swiftness for something so large she darted in towards the other mare, lips pulled back to reveal stained teeth as she attempted to take a swipe at the other's shoulder, preferrably bringing away a piece of flesh as a prize, but simply drawing blood would do. She jerked her head away from her intended target, hoping that the prized piece of hide was within her grasp and she began to circle again, this time making the circle tighter and tighter as she advanced upon the stone hewn mare. She rose upon her hindlegs, lashing out at the other mare with booth of her massive hooves toward her midsection region (her barrel, ribs, etc), hoping to at least cause some discomfort if not any damage. As she dropped to earth, there was time for a counter attack before she turned to move away again as quickly as she could, turning to face her teacher with a heavy snort.

They scream Alptraum.
