((Mkay.. it makes sense >< I'm just not used to writing battle posts, and wasn't really sure how they work and such. ^^'' Like what's overboard and what isn't sort of thing. And I guess I was mostly lacking that stuff because I was supposed to keep it short and to the point so I just thought that was filler stuff ><))
Zilar was being surprisingly patient and listening surprisingly well. Sure, he snorted, but he kept his personal comments to himself since he was in need of teaching. He had a goal to make. He had a fairly good memory. He had nothing to say, since he was just learning.
Indeed, the sudden movement had caught Zilar by surprise. He hadn't been expecting the attacks in the first place. In his ignorance and flaming temper in the past he had been injured enough to know what damage could be caused if he did nothing. He tried to curl his foreleg under his body but couldn't avoid some of the damage as he was slow to react and had gotten caught at first. He hissed at the hot feeling of the fresh injury. However, having his foreleg up like that, balancing on the other three, made it easier for him to be forced into a stumble.
At the added pressure to his body he started to stumble, realizing the harm that coul be caused having both legs on his right side injured, he did his best to maneuver out of the stumble, scuffling backwards and to the right, pushing back against Zakr, even though it required the use of his foreleg, another hiss escaping him as the pain reminded him of how slow he had been. This maneuver placed the kick higher up on his leg where it was more fleshy than bone. It hurt still, sure, but any wound right against the bone was hellish to go through. He pushed off from Zakr and forwards, turning to face him with the slightest grumble.
((Oh geeze xD I had no idea what to do >< I've been rping people for far too long. Tis short to keep all the fluffy text out. I don't know what kind of damage things would normally do because as much as I've roleplayed horses, I live in a suburb and rarely ever SEE one >< So I don't know what places would be the best to hit, or anything like that >> I had to use wikipedia to figure out what his breed was best for ><))
