Decoy Dude
Ok no video this week as we are on the road and currently stranded at a rest stop in IL so while we wait for a tow we’ll post this weeks tip!
Trust
A basic foundation in dog training is a mutual trust and fairness between you and your dog. They must trust you and to gain that you must be consistent in both reward and correction. When you cheat your dog’s trust they will get confused and the outcome will likely not be what you had in mind.
If it was a "NO" yesterday then its a "NO" today, no Jeckyl and Hyde treatment. If your say “OK” then reward the dog, don’t just tease him, and be sure his “pay check” is worth his time.
Remember, the dog is only as good and consistent as its trainer!
