I know you've been waiting a while so I figured I might as well give my input.
It's really a matter of opinion on how people take/add points but were trying to get it more consistent so there's less confusion.
My thoughts are that it may have gotten docked a point because it's a little ambiguous (at least to me).
Once you explain it, I can see how things fit together, but it can be difficult for someone else when you don't know what it's referencing. It takes a lot of guesswork which is what steals are about but my issue is that I'm not a big fan of having references that lead back to a specific post.I find that it's easy to look through the posts of a character you want to steal then use a reference from whatever particular post you decide, but I don't like it because it makes it so for someone to get that clue they would have to have read through that one particular post, which unless it was addressed to everyone, most people don't read through every other character's posts and it would be very difficult to pick out and remember a particular part from it.
(ahh I hope that made sense, I'm pretty tired, lol)
Does that help at all? I can't speak for whoever actually did the judging just giving ya a possibility..
It can be really difficult trying to put in enough to make the judges happy without making it too easy to guess, but again we're gonna be workin on it! =]
