x. Name reference (0-4) - 1
Aside from the fact that you mention puppy bones, this whole reference sounds to me like a red herring. The sentence as a whole has nothing to do with the Rhiannon myth, and since you are stealing a wolf a riddle-solver will instinctively focus on rhythms and pulses, ignoring the bones completely.
x. Harem reference (0-4) - 4
Because snakes don't have puppies and can't bark.
x. Rank reference* (0-4) - 3
This clue is a little...confused/confusing. It works, but it could just as easily be a history ref for someone who had recently been returned (can't keep me down - obviously they're keeping Rhiannon down) or even as a name reference of some sort. It's a minor problem, hence only one point.
x. History/Achievements reference (0-4) - 1
This is very, very vague. There are plenty of horses built like warriors who don't fight, and that is only one interpretation (and not the primary one) that can be derived from this line - because there are, in fact, insects that look like bees but cannot sting, and animals in general that mimic more dangerous critters in order to dissuade predators from eating them.
x. Filler** (-2-0) - -1
The filler in the name reference is the most damning. I see no relation to Rhiannon, her rank, her history, or her herd in the first half of the sentence. The only purpose it serves is to throw off the guesser - which undoubtedly it did. Be careful.
