For FREYA.
Your namesake suits your station (in the verses and the books), and contradicts it too;
name & rank ref; Freya (from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freya) is a Norse goddess, and is portrayed in the Eddas as the goddess of fertility, and was called on to assist childbirth. Freya is a child, so it suits her station. ‘The verses and the books’ is in there to make it a bit clearer, because the Eddas are in two parts; the Poetic Edda, in verses, and the Prose Edda, which consists of three books ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eddas). But Freya is also one of the highest Norse goddesses, which is contradictory to being such a low rank.
you stand high above the land and low beneath your countrymen;
herd & rank ref; ‘High above the land’ refers to Andarin, the mountains, and ‘low beneath your countrymen’ refers to the rank of child, as it is below the other ranks.
and the victim keeps a secret that is also yours,
history ref; Wicked, a shard slave, or victim, keeps the secret of who Freya’s father is, which is also a secret that involves Freya, obviously.
as you break from the kernel to emerge in the glory of the light.
misc/history ref; This is supposed to allude to a seedling breaking the protective coat of the seed and emerging from the soil, alluding to earth, which is Freya’s element, and the fact that she was born with the element, therefore 'emerging in glory.'
