At first I didn't get why folks got so excited about fashion dolls when there was Ann Estelle who is still my most favorite.
I began going to Tonner events and began to get that once I saw some IRL. But they lacked the play factor that I love. Then there was Sushi Ellowyne...who stole my heart away. I truly did believe she'd be the one and only. I could just look at her as she came and find her delightful.
I wondered at the time if it was her large head that drew me in. In many ways she combined the large eyed Storybook lovelies and the face/heard proportions of my baby dolls.
Now I have a full room of displays to stage my Ellowyne stories. Egypt; China; Mexico. Civil War, WW1 nurses etc etc. Also Pru's bookshop; Rufus's workshop; etc, etc. And lots of parts of a Fantasy story involving the undoing of a blighting curse upon a Maine town. I know you'll want photos to substantiate my claim, LOL. I keep telling myself I need to learn how to use the camera in my phone; but I keep avoiding it.
Maybe one day I'll get my friend Jeanne G to come up and give me a photo tutorial.
What great fun I'm having
