Annabelle, Adrift - Of all the shades of red, give me a true dark auburn that burns like fire in the sun and glows like coals by lamplight. Outside of Tonner, this color is amazingly hard to find. I'm so happy that they used this shade on many of the dolls, but Annabelle is still my favorite in this color.
Dixie, Baroque and Dreams - long and loose is my favorite but sometimes when it's twined into something intricate, it's so very interesting. Thanks, Anita, for letting her move to PA.
Uhura, Urban Legend Lizette doesn't live here anymore, but I did like her hair.
One of the things I love about my Lizettes is that they are all so very different in style and they seem to represent 3 different generations. Lizette (Great Depression) with her Roaring '20's look, Vesta (Vintage Kitchen) with her 1950's Suzie-Homemaker look, and Sasha (Saturday Runaround) with her more hip, contemporary look. Although I think I need to add Venus (Overhead Costs) to be a 4th generation between the '50's and now. LOL
Sometimes they're just not happy with what they came with. Princess Amber decided that she liked her dress, as any princess would, but not her hair. So she grabbed a spare blonde one off someone (literally) and voila. She might want to bleach her eyebrows, though! LOL I love long curls.
And lest you think only the Ellowynes have great hair...
I love Dejah's (Innocence) curls...
Aahmas' braids are truly super...
And Sylvie's augmented Princess Leia buns are far out.
I seem to be on a cornsilk kick right now, with Sylvie, Basic Ann (who hasn't been photographed yet), and this girl who traveled from Michigan to live in Thimbledon (thanks, Lynda!):
Who I already have complete, but this one's to play with. She hasn't named herself yet, but didn't hesitate to try on the goose hat that Marley was too dignified to do. Her hair is long and loose and I love that color.
And for fun, if we haven't had enough already, these two goofballs have cute hair to start with, and then Tonner produced a wig pack...
Izzy decided she liked the long black one with the bow and it's become her signature hair. Amelia liked her spiral ponytails but it got pretty ratty, so she decided to go with braids. I'm relieved she didn't take the short blonde one - she looks far too innocent in that one!
Okay, time to get outta hair before we make the site explode with too many pictures. Hope you've enjoyed it. We like lots of different hair colors and styles in Thimbledon.
