There are several thousand fascinating shots of Scottish locations in the English Heritage Photo Archive. Most of these are filed towards the end of the Gallery of 'New' subjects. There are over 16 thousand shots here, so if you want to study the Scottish ones it's best to start at the end and work backwards.
Set aside a few hours!
Aberdeen 1949 - apparently chock full of Eagle 'Tree' class trawlers!
Ardossan 1938
Peterhead 1948
T Ward &Co Inverkeithing 1948
And lastly, Queen Mary - 1935
