Hi all,
I have been collecting (hoarding) the odd 1200/1250 Waterline ships for years, but have decided to concentrate on Tremo models. Why? The link with my name, I live in South Wales, it is a finite collection, and I like the archaic toylike feel. Besides which, my grandchildren with their sometimes clumsy fingers can handle them rather than just stare at them in my cabinet. A few have just been sold on Ebay for good prices, but funds demand that I renovate 'playworn' examples, hoping for the odd 'lucky' find. Besides which it will be more fun, anyone with unlimited funds can aquire a collection of whatever they wish..
I have seen reference to a number of publications, but wonder if anyone on this forum will guide me to the most comprehensive catalogue or list of Tremo's made. Also, is there a guide to styles and/or trade marks of older model makers?
Is there a swap/wanted section on this forum?
