my last photo seems to have been appreciated so here with a couple more. Apologies for the quality as they were stored in a Pusser's Kitbag (Kelvin, that's a valise to you) for years.
A busy scene at Fountain Lake Jetty 1980:
D16 HMS London being manoeuvred to FLJ by tugs A88 Agile and A86 Forceful. D18 HMS Antrim behind and R12 HMS Hermes (pre harrier ski-jump) at North West Wall
No 3 Basin looking west 1980
HMS Invincible and a GMD in the locks with an Oberon class sub at the inner wall of Fountain Lake Jetty.
Note - the original entrance to FLJ can be seen by the sub's bow in the front left area of the photo.
