An earlier thread mentions the Fleetline AFD.
I met the guy (whose name escapes me at the moment) who produced the original Fleetlines and he told me he based it on the AFD which was currently (at the time, late 1970's) berthed at Fountain Lake Jetty, Portsmouth.
I took this photo of the AFD, whilst it was docked down to receive and O Class sub, from HMS Intrepid in 1980
