Regrettably I am not too young to remember 'The Navy Lark', in its classic 1.30pm Sunday lunchtime slot, alternating with the Billy Cotton Band Show, etc.
I've still got, somewhere, some audio cassettes (remember those? I once went on a course on 'Audio in Libraries' - it included cartridges - remember those?) with pirated copies of the 'Navy Lark' on them. Must downsize ...
Now Brown - he is too young to remember the Navy Lark ...
(Troubridge was a Type 15 frigate with the later 'frigate bridge' - if memory serves me right she was one of the last of the active Type 15s, serving mainly on the A&WI station).
