I, too, found the strange split at the bows disconcerting. If only it were conveniently at the waterline. I had thought of waterlining them; what would you suggest as the best way? I have no workshop or tools to speak of and don't fancy doing it freehand. Stupid questions really as the answer is obviously 'get tools'.
