Surprisingly the latest edition of the WSS 'Warships Supplement' carries the first of a two part series by Ian Buxton.
So, very quick - this is possibly AFD 5 (The 'Portsmouth Dock'). Arrived Falmouth 1951 and sold to Maryland Shipbuilding, Baltimore 1968. (Unless there were two AFDs at Falmouth in 1964?)
