Hi Vincent. Thanks for the link to your model gallery. Some excellent stuff on display and an inspiration for me to try harder with the painting. I was interested in your use of countershading which is something that's been discussed on Dockside before. I feel confident enough to use the technique on warships, but have yet to pluck up enough courage to try it with merchantmen and liners. John
