These kits are 289mm long overall, since Enterprise is 342m as per my reference books this gives a scale of 1:1179 Nimitz are supposedly all 332m which gives a scale of 1:1148
I can live with this, but it does mean that they dominate a collection that is "really" 1:1200 and look even more overwhelming with 1:1250 companions.
I visited 4 "99p" or "£1" shops today and didn't see any, must be out of luck!
