If you are in the area Bognor to Brighton, there is a nice little museum display of 1200 scale models at Littlehampton town museum. In the entrance hall is an impressive display case with 38 big liners and a harbour display using Triang type units, with large and small craft across the 20th Century. The liners are all identified.
In the back of the museum is another case with 11 shelves of models, the large ones (about 100?) are identified. Only 2 shelves are warships, which pleases me!
Most impressive, one of the best labelled collections of 1200 scale ships I have seen.
You are warned that they do not like photography.
Do try and visit if you are in the area.
