Thanks for the suggestions. I should have said that the model I'm working on is Reina del Mar in her original 1956 Pacific Steam appearance, rather than after the 1964 rebuild. The "problem" is circled in this photo:
It looks like a pool to me, but over the bridge? I don't think it's a cinema but what else could it be?
