Queens in each age division will receive a beautiful rhinestone crown, monogrammed banner, rhinestone queen’s pin, crown bag, Glamor Make Over from Shelly Black, Full entry paid into Miss La. USA Or Mrs. LA America Pageants in October 2009.Must Have 7 contestants in Teen & Miss to award Full Paid Entry. Official Queen’s Portrait courtesy of Greg Livaudais Photography, $200 Scholarship from Brian Apple White, Fresh Water Pearls from Sylvia's Estate Jewelry, Queens Banquet Dinner from Mandina's Restaurant and Much More.
1st – 3rd & 4th Runner’s up in each age division will receive a lovely Trophy Or Gift
Photogenic winners in each age group will receive a lovely frame and gift
Best Interview A Lovely gift or trophy( High Score)
Best Evening Gown will receive a lovely gift or Trophy( High Score)

Contestant's Orientation & Registration.
Registration 9AM Orientation 9:30AM Until 10AM
This is when you submit Your Photo, Portfolio, Entry form if not mailed in, Emcee Sheet & 5 Copies of BIO & Original. Emcee sheet will be given to you @ registrations to fill out if Not faxed in to Shelly.
Final Balances are due at this time. You will get your contestant #, Back Stage wrist band ($10) Only One person will be allowed in The Dressing Room to assist you. There will be $10 late fee if paid at this time.
Pay your entry fee by Early Bird Dead Line of September 5th,
& get All Optionals FREE …....Total of a $30.00 Savings!!!!
You may bring a Small token/gift to Teen LA USA ( Brittney Guidry) and for the Five judges if you like as a nice gesture. Put your name on a tag!!
You can sell Ads for The Official Program Book to off set your entry fee & Optional Categories. Full page ad is $100. Sell Four Pages and Cover your entry fee & Optionals. Your photo may appear on the ad and show case your accomplishments & Community Support. A Program Book will be sent to you by request. Person that sells the Most Ads will win A pair Of Frederico Leone Competition Shoes & Official Ad sales Award. Must sell Four or more pages to qualify! Your photo will appear on the In Side Back Cover! Please notify the Director if you plan on selling ads.

Miss Camellia City Pageant Itinerary & Ward Robe Requirements

T-Shirts.....All Contestant's must wear Official Miss Camellia City T-Shirt ( Provided with Entry Fee) with blue jeans to rehearsals @ the Slidell Little Theater. Please indicate size desired on Entry Form. Small, Medium or Large. T-Shirts will be handed out @ Registration at Hotel for 9AM.
Interview... This will be a 4 minute private interview done with a panel of five judges. Questions will be based from Your BIO/FACT SHEET. Make sure you submit the Original & 5 Copies at Registration. This will be 1/3 of the scoring.
Interview Attire...Teen: Blue jeans with cute top or jacket. This is USA attire.
Miss...Dressy/Casual, pant, skirt or cocktail-style dress. USA attire.
Mrs...Should wear a two piece business suit or pants suit.
Note...Accessories should be minimal.
Swimsuit attire...Teen & Miss should wear two piece swimsuit ( Any Color or style) Full bottom coverage with one inch minimum.
Shoes...Taupe strappy or clear shoes
Sarong..Any color or style. This will be worn with swimsuit & shown how to model during rehearsals. All Contestants.
Mrs...One or two piece. Any color or style. May wear pantyhose if desired.
Evening Gown..Teen, Miss & Mrs. Must be age appropriate. NO Tea-Length. Any style and color of choice. The dress should you and your personality.
Opening # Out fit....Camellia Theme: Cock Tail attire, Dress. Any shades of Pink, Orange, and/or Red. Shoe color can be clear or taupe preferred to lengthen the legs. See show gallery @www.shellyspageantexpress.com.
Times... All At The Holiday Inn Banquet Room

Your Orientation & Interview coordinators are Brian Apple White & Sherry Strothers.
Rehearsals. Teen..2:30PM, Miss....3:00PM....Mrs...3:30PM (ALL 4:00PM) Done at the Slidell Little Theater, bring all of your competition wardrobe and things at this time. You will be appointed dressing rooms back stage. Bring a light snack with you. Water will be provided for you & Mirrors and Clothing Racks. Bring Your small gifts for Teen La USA & For the judges at this time.
Let Shelly know if you need hair and makeup services. You will have from 5Pm until 6:45PM for Preparation. Only one person allowed back stage @ a cost of $ 10 and will be given a wrist band to wear & will remain back stage at all times or will be escorted to the theater @ 6:45Pm to watch the pageant.

Take exit 263 The Old Spanish Trail exit. The hotel if right off interstate. The Theatre is off exit 265 The Fremaux Exit. Take left at Fremaux and is one block on the left hand side.
The Charity for this year's pageant in STARC. Helping mentally retardation folks become independent. Please bring unwanted clothing,shoes and bedding. We accept for both male and female. Bring to the hotel and someone behind the desk will accept the donation!
