The 9th Annual Miss. La State Pageant is set for July 18th and 19th @ the
best western Landmark Hotel in Metairie.
We have all divisions for all ages. Natural beauty for the children and
Evening Gown and on stage interview only for
Teen...Miss...Mrs...Ms...Classic & Plus divisions. The schedule is as
follows.
July 18th
If You won a prelim title during the year, please list your title on the
entry form and discount.
Saturday.....5PM til 7PM
Carnival Room...First Floor
Cook Off
All contestants can enter and if you have a title, come in crown and banner
and party wear/cock tail attire.
Make your favorite dish, bring a copy of the recipe and a serving spoon. if
hot dish, you must supply the heat or bring an extension cord.
The pageant will provide, drinks,plates,bowls,spoons & forks.
The dishes will be judged on Taste,Presentation,Originality. Be Creative in
your presentation.
There will be two winners. A hot and a cold dish will be chosen. The winners
get a Crown & official Monogrammed banner saying Miss Louisiana State Cook
Off! Winners will be presented at the Pageant.
Moms and dads are welcome to help the little ones with their favorite
dish!!!!!
If You are a visiting queen, festival,farm bureau,or hold a title in
Louisiana, You can enter the contest also.

All Non participating Miss la State Contestants get in free.
Doors Open to the Public @ 5PM
Judging @ 5:30PM
General Eating after judging is complete @6:15PM
Photo session with all queens and kings!!!!
The host hotel is the legendary Best Western LandMark Hotel on 2601 Severn
Avenue in Metairie, La. The hotel # 504-888-9500 for reservations call.
See attached Entry form, mail in with $20 or bring with you to the cook off.
Saturday......7PM to 8PM You may pay for your door admission for Sundays
pageant at this time.
Early Registration Party
Bring your photos and portfolios at this time. You will be given your
contestant # and packet for Sundays pageant. All out standing balances are
due at this time. If you have a small token or gift for the 5 judges, you
may bring it. This can be anything like,candy,candles,novelties, put your
name and title on a tag. The judges love getting these tokens of
appreciation. Just a thought.
There will be snacks and drinks provided for all. Photos will be taken.
Bring your cameras.
Sunday.....July 19th
9:30am til 10:45am....Children registration
If you didn't make it to the early registration Saturday. bring your picture
for photogenic competition and portfolios and any money due at this time.
Children's pageant...11:00am til 1:30PM...Mardi Gras Ball Room
Visiting Queens Welcome.
Adults...$15
Children 12 and under $10
Small Children & Visiting Royalty $5

There will be an official photographer on hand. No Cameras will be allowed
in the Ball Room. Photography by Greg Livaudais. he has wonderful prices and
out standing work!
We will take entries at the door with a $10 late fee.
All winners get FREE ENTRY into the Miss New Orleans Pageant in November.
