Hey folks, I hope this email finds everyone well and getting back to your homes with hardly or any damage from the hurricane. We have a new date for the pageant. It will still be held at the landmark in Metairie. I am attaching the entry forms for the children as well as teen thru ms.Here is the up dated info.Please print for your convince and the new deadline date for photos to appear in the program book is Sept 20th. If you are planning on attending, email your photo if you haven't already. Please let your friends know of the new date and that we are still accepting entries.
Saturday.....September 27th
5:00Pm....Queens Celebrity Cook Off...$ 20 to enter the competition. Wear Your Crown & Banner of your title(Your Choice if you have more than one title)Two winners chosen! Door admission for Adults is $10 & Kids $5.( See Attached Info)
7:00Pm....Pre Registration For all contestants! If you cannot make it, You may register Sunday from 9:00Am til 10:30Am for Kids and 2:00PM for Teen thru Ms.
Sunday...September 28th
9:00AM til 10:30Am....Registration for Children contestants that have not pre registered on Sat.
10:30AM.....Doors open to the public...General Admission is $ 15 for Adults, $10 for Children 12 and under. Reserved seating $25)
11:00AM.....Pageant Competition Starting with Baby Boys til Preteen.
12:30PM.....Over all Competition ( Most Handsome & Most Beautiful & Fashion)
1:00Pm.......Crowning from Boys to PreTeen
1:30PM.......Overall Awards & Photos taken On Stage.
Judges & Staff Break
2:00Pm.....Rehearsals In Ball Room for Teen, Miss.,Mrs. & Ms. Contestants( Bring shoes to practice in) Bring Your Goody Bags to swap)
3:00PM til 4:30Pm....Pageant preparation for Hair and Makeup! Don't forget your Opening # Out Fit.
4:30PM......Doors Open to Public
5:00PM.....Show Time! Opening # & Introductions.
5:30Pm......Evening Gown & On Stage Competitions In this order Teen, Miss.,Mrs, Ms.
6:30PM......Entertainment & Acknowledgements.
7:00PM......Going Away Speeches from Kristen Giult,Dawn Streeck & Merrill Bankston 2007 Royalty.
7:30Pm.......CROWNING of New 2008 Royalty.
