Queen's Celebrity Cook-Off to Benefit Hunter Bsjorkman @ The Miss. Louisiana State Pageant
Hey Folks, The pageant community is coming together @ The Miss Louisiana State Pageant on Sept 6th @ 5pm for a cook off. Two winners will be crowned and every contestants Recipe will be posted in a recipe E BOOK called Pageantry Recipes By Louisiana Royalty. It will kick off before the Pre Registration Party. Please print the info and bring with you. Come on Louisiana, let's get those chef hats off the shelf and into the kitchen. See Below.
Please email your recipe to Shelly along with your name and title. Don't forget to email me your photos for the program book for the pageant.
Queen's Celebrity Cook Off
September 6th, 2008 Best western Landmark Hotel
Saturday 5:00PM until 6:00Pm First floor of Hotel and before Preregistration Party for Miss. La. State Pageant
Adults $10.00 and Children 12 and under $ 5.00 Donation ( All You can Eat Buffet)
Benefit for Hunter Bsjorkman ( Hunter was burned & family needs assistance with medical bills)
Rules & General Information & Prizes
Must have a pageant title ( Crown & Banner must be worn during the Competition)
Must bring a copy of Your recipe along with either a Cold Or Hot Dish ( Registration @ 4:00PM until 5:00PM)
If hot dish, must bring your crock pot or hot trey and an extension cord when you Register & serving spoon
Please notify Shelly if you are submitting a hot dish. The dish should feed 6 adults.
Forks, spoons, paper plates, bowls and napkins will be supplied by the pageant along with Diet & regular drinks.
If Title holder is a child, parents are welcome to prepare the dish or bake. Please have the title holders name and parents name on an index card and a description of the dish. Like Craw Fish stew by Shelly Black ( Mrs. Gretna 2007)
The cost to enter the competition is $ 20.00 and 50% will go to the Hunter Bsjorkman fund.
There will be two winners, one in each category. Hot or Cold dish.
The winners will get a Monogrammed Banner that says Queens Cook Off and a rhinestone crown and The Shelly Winters * Skin Care Line, valued @ $100.00. Courtesy of the Director ( Shelly Winters Black)
Judges will be the Miss. La. State & Miss. New Orleans Queens.
Everyone that has a title can enter the contest and must wear their crown and banner. Bring your cameras, this is a wonderful and fun event to take pictures and create memories that will last you a life time!
Donations will be accepted during the event if not entering the cook off.
The recipes will be put into an E-Book and published on www.directyourpageant.com & shellyspageantexpress.com and will be sold for $14.95 and 50% of sales will also be donated to Hunter. Call Shelly for more info @ 504-400-8958
