When posting a question about your Galaxie or other Ford (all are welcome), BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to accurately answer questions.

Anyone need 68 Galaxie 500 4dr hardtop parts? Posted by Dan on August 3, 2009, 8:56 pm 98.216.247.215 I'm going to grab parts for my wagon off a donor this Saturday. It's a 68 Galaxie 500 4 door hardtop with a 302, auto, no air, no hideaway headlights, dark green with black int. Anyone need parts? I know the doors and trunk lid are good, and the interior is MINT. Let me know soon if you need something because I am only going Saturday and this thing will be sent to the crusher next week.  Post a Response

Re: Got the parts - here's a list Posted by Dan on August 9, 2009, 7:29 pm, in reply to "Anyone need 68 Galaxie 500 4dr hardtop parts?" 98.216.247.215 Here goes: (from 68 Galaxie 500 4dr hardtop with black interior) nice rear doors, no rust, both very clean possibly original paint all side glass, (really nice vent window assemblies) 4 black door panels all 6 nice black window crank handles nice black dash pad (not cracked but has 3 small holes drilled in the top near the defrost ducts, easily filled) A- B- and C-pillar int trim sort of padded windlace trim along edge of headliner on sides steel trim around inside rear window front kick panels trim below rear sail panels (like rear kick panels??) ext trim along top of 4 doors (at window) nice original black seat covers front (bench) and rear (I'm keeping the frames, easier to just ship the covers anyway) Probably some more little bits I forgot.
