When posting a question about your Galaxie or other Ford (all are welcome), BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to accurately answer questions.

It is by no means show quality, but it will do. I knew there was bondo on the passenger side rear door, but not this much. I will have to try to do a little shrinking on this one. Oh and does anyone know what the white material is that Ford put into the drip rails on their cars? I found this material on my Mustang as well, but I don'tknow what it is. With limited funds I will continue bodywork and little odds and ins for now. I think I will also pull the interior. More to come....  Post a Response

Any auto body store should sell..." 69.145.220.22 BUT it was water clean up so I used that to my advantage when I redid it on the galaxie. 1. I cleaned out all the old sealer 2. used a wire wheel to clean out the drip rail down down to clean steel. 3. primed it with rattle can etching primer (auto paint store product) 4 applied the sealer and smoothed it with a wet finger (thats why I got the water clean up stuff) 5. let it dry and painted over it with primer and top coat when I painted the whole car.  Post a Response
