When posting a question about your Galaxie or other Ford (all are welcome), BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to accurately answer questions.

Checking in Posted by Grimm on June 30, 2009, 9:09 pm 75.47.243.235 Greetings. It has been a while and for that I apologize. I do not know where to begin. In the last few months I planted my yearly garden, made two trips to Northern California for family issues, lost a game of chicken with a concrete column, and went from forty hours a week at work to almost sixty. Just to name a few things I have been up to. I did lose some steam on the yacht with everything else I had going on. I was unable to get to the Pomona Swap Meet to recharge my batteries because I was up north at the time. Thanks to Daze for checking in on me a few weeks ago. It got me charged up enough to make some time to get some bodywork done and to install my one wire alternator. I'll post the pics I took shortly. I did the switch a couple weeks ago, but just now got around to posting. I have a voltage regulator and wiring if anyone is interested. I also have the alternator and I think it works, but I replaced it when I noticed that when my electric fan went on my voltage would drop. If anyone is interested email me at ejf96@att.net. You pay the shipping and I'll pack it up. With funds being tight right now I will continue with some bodywork and take care of some rust issues.  Post a Response
