When posting a question about your Galaxie or other Ford (all are welcome), BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to accurately answer questions.

Projex for this weekend. Posted by Grimm on November 7, 2008, 6:25 pm 75.215.181.81 Well I did not get any free time during the week to work on the yacht so this weekend I hope to complete the following: Put on my exhaust manifolds. Hook up a new fuel line. Install my Edlebrock Carb. Fab, if necessary, a kickdown linkage attachement for the carb. Find somewhere for my MSD box. I think that should do it for one day. If I get all that done I may keep going, but we will see. I will keep you all posted  Post a Response

Fortunately Edlebrock makes an adaptor for the Ford tranny kick down linkage. All I had to fab was a plate to relocate the throttle cable. The adaptor put the cable at a wierd angle. The last picture is of the ac, power steering and alternator brackets in place for mock up.  Post a Response

Looks to me like there is room for that coil to the right of the alternator I wish all post came with pictures. it is nice to see what people are working on and what kind of progress they are making  Post a Response

I don't get much time during the week and I will have a lot of questions coming up. I am thinking about attaching the coil on the ac bracket. The top radiator hose needs to snake out of the space next to the alternator. I agree that pictures speak louder than words. I will keep you guys posted as I make more progress.  Post a Response
