could be due for replacement too. What idle speed is it set to. Maybe the RPM's are too low. I would doubt it is the balancer. I had a pretty bouncy idle in my car before rebuilding the engine. I think the bouncy idle was from the worn out front cam bearing, so you first want to make sure everything else is tried.
