front discbrakes & ride hight

Hello everybody, could anyone of you identify that brake caliper? It’s in my ’65 Galax 2dHt and I don’t know witch brakesetup is installed nor I know if the spindles are originally ’65 stock. As I’d like to swap those callipers against better stuff – have to know what will fit… Also I’d like to lower the ridehight a bit, nearly as low or similar they had in NASCAR these days in ’65, which would be the best way to go? Just cutting the springs seems not to be the perfect idea. I appreciate any suggestions and thank you in advance, Jakob
