As you know I just built an exhaust for my Mustang. One of the things I had on the old exhaust was chrome exhaust tips. The only problem was since the exhaust exited right in front of the rear tires they were prone to rock chips and soon were pitted with rust. I didn't want that issue so I decided to get some stainless steel tips. All my local parts houses had were the chrome stuff and it was about $12.00 a tip. Summit racing had the tips in stainless, but they were bigger than I wanted with 3" outlets and were about $18.00 a piece plus handling. I then went to eBay and found a seller named "radiatorclassic" he had exactly what I wanted, a 2.25" input, 2.5" output rolled end stainless steel exhaust tips that were 10" long for $15.11 and free shipping. I couldn't pass that up and ordered two but I expected to get a couple of cheep super thin over seas made parts. I couldn't have been more wrong. I don't know where the parts are made, but the quality is amazing. they have been polished to a mirror shine and the steel is at least 18 gage probably thicker. This is a great deal if you are looking for something similar.
If it aint broke..... modify it anyway!!!!
