I did give the aluminum a spray with some rattle can clear coat that I had kicking around. The pieces were all hot tanked and then gone over with wire wheels. I hit the aluminum with with a sanding block and hope the smoother surface will hold less gunk. The pics are 640X480 for direct posting in forums. I may have higher res copies somewhere.
