here is the situation:
Almost exactly 3 years ago I took a bunch of stuff apart on my Mustang to make some "upgrades", half way through the upgrades the car got parked and has stayed that way until about two weeks ago. Over the last couple of weeks I have been working on putting things back together just enough to be able to move the car under its own power. All went well and I made good use of my "new" lift getting things put back together. Right before I fired it up I changed the oil and then I put some gas in the tank and turned her over. It coughed a few times and took right off, BUT it seams to have developed a loud knock. I spent about 8 hours between yesterday and today running all kinds of tests and I am 99% sure I know what the issue is and will be able to fix it.
The game is to see which of you can come to the same conclushion I did. I will not tell you what tests I ran unless you specifickly ask. I will not give results unless specifically asked.
Example you could say "did you check the oil?" and the answer would be "yes". If you said "did you check the oil and what was the result?" I would say "yes and the dipstick showed that it was full" So lets see who can get the answer first with out cheating and finding the answer on a Mustang forum I frequent. ![]()
